Sosialt kjønn

Gender is the understanding a community has of what it means to have a particular gender. The gender is given by things like the expectations a community has to how (for example) a man or a woman should behave (gender roles), as well as beliefs and ideas about what the physical characteristics of the different genders are or what is typical of the different genders.
